Kerri E. Lanzieri, LICSW, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Science and Services from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons College in Boston. This is her second published book. Her first book, Rhody Ram’s Rhode Island Adventure was published in 2016. She uses books pertaining to social and emotional topics frequently in her work with young students as a Rhode Island school social worker. Her dream, as both an author and clinician, is to combine both careers and print some of her other drafted books which face tough topics kids sometimes have in life. Kerri, who has resided in her beloved state of Rhode Island for most of her life, lives with her husband, Robert, and their two daughters, Giada and Lucia. She enjoys time spent with family and friends, running, crafting, reading, and traveling.
"Rhody Ram's Rhode Island Adventure"
Now available

Rhody the Ram, determined to show his friends from mascot school that Rhode Island is a great destination, takes them on a journey across the state teaching them about the unique aspects that make Rhode Island so special. But can Rhody pull it off, being from the smallest state? Will they all learn that sometimes the smallest things can be the very best?

Growing up in Rhode Island and graduating from URI gave me the passion for this great little state, especially the beauty of southern Rhode Island, which was the inspiration for this book.
To my husband, Robert, who has been my biggest supporter as I tried on my new author ‘hat’. To my brother, David, who told me I would never know if I could hit a home run if I didn’t swing the bat first. To my daughters Giada, Lucia, and my godson David Jr.; my ‘smallest blessings’ that make my world complete. To my parents Ben & Judy, for prompting my journey to URI. And to my extended family, my ‘in-law family’, and numerous friends and colleagues for making me smile each and every day.
"The Day Skipper went to Heaven"
TBD

This is the book that started it all!
My inspiration for this book occurred when my five year old daughter's pet rabbit died suddenly. I could not find the right books to process this first time grief with her hence "The Day Skipper went to Heaven" was written.
